I'm not using this board, or DJ's or anyone's but reading the tea leaves I just cant imagine the Bears not going with some vet to win games and try to save foxies ass and then selecting their highest graded QB at 36 or 67. Gil Brandts 49ers QB evaluation sums up the QB situation for me. "overdraft" at 2 with the new coach or pick the best player and possibly get the same guy later on. Pace/Fox don't have that luxury imo.

With Kaepernick and Gabbert likely out the door, the Niners have got to find a quarterback. While Trubisky is probably the only prospect I'd take second overall, San Francisco should consider potentially overdrafting Clemson's Deshaun Watson or Notre Dame's DeShone Kizer there. I'd also consider addressing a different need at No. 2 and hoping Watson, Kizer or another promising quarterback can be had in Round 2, or trading lower in the first round and trying to land a quarterback there.

Wait, what? They should consider them at 2 but hope they last until 34? WTF? I can see why these guys a 'former' whatevers.

Oh cool. The latest "let's see how edgy and right on I can sound by putting the QBs as low as possible" mock from another Starbucks drinking drone.

I think this is a pretty good ratings list based on talent by position, but would be very surprised if Trubisky and Watson fall beyond the top 5 in the actual draft. The QB position is too important and Cleveland, SF, Bears, and Jets are all pretty desperately in need of a better solution than what they currently have.

looks like we could not go wrong with either Adams or Hooker at #3...I'd be down with either. Just up to personnel preference/fit.

Yeah, that's why every analyst is saying it's a crappy year for QBs. Get out of the bubble.

That's typically what happens when you rank by "scores", nothing edgy about it.

Really? Have they ever even been to a super Bowl let alone won it? The Browns haven't been significant since 1989 except for one year that Belichick rallied them before he got fired and their problems were personnel related. No doubt that Horton has more knowledge than us but it doesn't stop that phrase I quoted (by Brandt) from being silly for someone in the know and they all get it wrong. No one needs to agree with them as you'll find that as individuals they don't agree with each other. The longer removed, the weaker their 'special' connections become.

For instance, do you agree that Trubisky is the top QB prospect and that Watson or Kizer doesn't belong in the 1st round?

It's not a mock round. Its a list by talent.

I personally don't think any of the QB's have first round talent. That said i still think the big three go in the first.

Who implied it was a mock draft board??? It was directed at R&S. No one said that list is the end all but his defense of Scouts Inc brings up that particular question since I know he feels differently. Goes to consistency. That list has Trubisky as 1st round talent by raw grade and before the others mentioned that obviously aren't listed.
