I don't think there's anyone who believes that Vancouver is necessarily a "good" hockey team, but the Canucks do sit just one point back of the Flames for the final wild card spot and have two games in hand. The Sedins are still here and are still the team's main scoring threat, although youngster Bo Horvat is having himself a nice season as well. After that the roster is largely comprised of "Who's that?" and "He's still in the league?" Two points tonight, Hawks.

Their hot start helped them out. I recall their first 6 or something games they literally never led a single game yet only had every game go to OT.

Locker room praises are overblown all the time but I don't know when exactly but for reasons Stamkos claimed Panik was the most skilled player he played/practiced with.

Note twas seemingly before Kucherov and Drouin were fully playing there.

After shutting the Avs down on the road in the third period to win 6-4, the Blackhawks are now on a 6 period scoreless streak, started by Crow and centered by Darling.

Great chance for a win and shut-out with our style of protecting leads by killing chances both directions. No problem for us. Maybe they get 1, I don't think they are likely to get 2. but its hockey.

6 of next 8 games are SHOULD WINS, before a nice look at McJesus in an away/home double header format with a week in between. Get those tickets now for the return game, it will be hyped if Jesus walks on water in the first!!!

Then 2 of next 4 don't include Juggernauts...and then its March. 4 Hard games until March. We aren't relinquishing much gap with the western lead for a while.

I love the lines we are in, when Kruger returns its only good on good. A Smaltz/Rasmussen/Desjardins/Kero decision will have to be made.

I'm feeling championship confident because I only fear the Wild this year in the West. Anything is possible, it always takes some injury luck...we have as good of a chance as any other year has been I think.
