If the coaching and front office sucks, it doesn't matter where you draft a QB!

Dungy and Irsay pretty much sucked in Indianapolis for Manning...

yeah every poster who says the bears shouldn't draft a QB says the same thing. That and how there isnt a guaranteed superbowl winning QB in this draft.

Does OP presume that the offensive staff has job security? Because I hate to shock you, but they're likely on a short leash.

Aaron Rodgers could become Joey Harrington is the wrong hands.

He would still be Aaron Rodgers but he might play like Joey Harrington. Besides we already proved with Cutler that we can grow the man. So we know the front office is top notch. ...puke...

going by bears record???

Jewish jerry curl comb ova has won canadian titles too.
Wait are you actually defending Trestman?

I pose this hypothetical to you and anyone who cares to answer: You are forced to watch an entire bears game, chosen at random, with no snacks, beer or bathroom breaks and accompanied by fans of the other team. Would you rather rewatch a game from this year's team, or from trestmans last year with the team?

It would be hilarious just to see how we'd do with all the same coaching staff and player personnel -- except with the lone addition of Aaron Rodgers. Think he could work a miracle with Bowel Loggains calling plays, the turnstile Massie at OL, and our collection of broken down loser WR's and TE's?

As a rookie I would expect Rodgers to struggle but now? He's earned enough respect that he'd be involved in every personnel decision and all the play calls on offense. If you were Fox and had Rodgers arguing with Loggains about something, I think you'd side with Rodgers every single time. Our current receivers would play inspired under Rodgers - just having Alshon Jeffrey at a high level would be a lot for Rodgers to work with.

If the coaching sucks next year then we will get new coaches most likely so even if your argument held water, I would still draft a QB. Still needs to get use to NFL speed and learn how to be a professional.

Because that has worked so well for us in the past.

Drafting a QB hasnt worked for us. Signing free agent QBs hasnt worked for us. And wouldnt you know it, trading for QBs hasnt worked for us either. Might as well close the franchise.
