John Fox hinting at Watson?

John Fox said of evaluating a quarterback. "When you can inspire the people around you, those guys tend to be a little bit better."

Or he's taking a shot at Cutler.

Fox: "Sometimes you have to take some steps back before you step forward."

We're getting a dual-threat running QB.

Thats what I got out of it, or recency bias as its the last thing he remembers talking about, discussing about Cutler, or trying to get through to Cutler about why his antics can't take place. (finger pointing, quiting, crying, doucheing of the pussy in the meeting room)

Probably a little of both.

It be hooves Fox to try and tie as much of this 9-23 on Cutler.

When asked what he looks for in a quarterback, Fox said, "One that wins."

Watson definitely can bring that. I am interested in his pre-draft workouts.

Watson can bring what? Someone who "just wins"?

Thats dumb. The whole idea of someone who "just wins" as if there is some mystical, miraculous quality that is beyond understanding is dumb.

I prefer a QB that makes plays to one that "just wins". Because that phase is nothing more than then a rationalization for an uninformed opinion.

And for the record, Fox was not talking about guys that "just win" at all.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
Seems all the top guys are loved by their mates. So Cook is the opposite yet we tried to draft him last year.

So Watson doesn't make plays? Got it

Trubisky? Watson? Both gamers, both take shots and get back up and make another play. Neither of them quit.

Clemson's top 10 defense had nothing to do with them winning?

I hate hearing this rhetoric.

Clemson D blanked OSU in the playoff while Watson threw 2 INT's.

Clemson D kept them in it while Watson was bottled up the entire first half of the NC game.
