Catching the Wild seems less and less likely these days, especially after the Hawks fell on Saturday night while the Wild were able to pick up another two points. With two more head-to-head matchups, it's certainly not impossible, but the odds aren't in the Hawks favor. What's more important now is that the Hawks find their proper footing in the final 6-7 weeks of the regular season, and we could be seeing the early signs of that. Jonathan Toews has been markedly better over the last few games. The SuperPAK line has been lighting the lamp again. Ryan Hartman continues to be the surprise of the season. But the hill gets steeper tonight against a Minnesota team that just never seems to lose. It's likely that any route to the Cup will go through the Wild. And while the Hawks have done that before, Minnesota may never have been riding as high as they are this season. Might be a good time to throw some doubt back into that locker room.
LET'S GO HAWKS!!
