Catching the Wild seems less and less likely these days, especially after the Hawks fell on Saturday night while the Wild were able to pick up another two points. With two more head-to-head matchups, it's certainly not impossible, but the odds aren't in the Hawks favor. What's more important now is that the Hawks find their proper footing in the final 6-7 weeks of the regular season, and we could be seeing the early signs of that. Jonathan Toews has been markedly better over the last few games. The SuperPAK line has been lighting the lamp again. Ryan Hartman continues to be the surprise of the season. But the hill gets steeper tonight against a Minnesota team that just never seems to lose. It's likely that any route to the Cup will go through the Wild. And while the Hawks have done that before, Minnesota may never have been riding as high as they are this season. Might be a good time to throw some doubt back into that locker room.

LET'S GO HAWKS!!

I don't think we can catch them, but i think we can do a good bit of measuring ourself tonight.

As long as there isn't a noticeable talent gap between two teams we should be able to stand pat. We win or play even...

but if we lose I think it could have longterm consequences for the franchise and we may mortgage more of future.

Definitely. Give them something to think (and worry) about before the playoffs.

Panik is working that $$$ meter a bit with likely surpassing 20 goals. Hopefully the breakfasts provided are enough to make him we re-sign cheap again.

Umm I think we have found Tazer's ideal linemates.... the #1 line is looking awesome against one of the best teams in the league.

They seem to be putting offensive concerns to rest. Gotta shore up the D tho. Lots of good chances given up in the last few games.

Well, I'm fucking furious, because I was out doing some patio drinking with friends and DVR'd the game to watch later. Except I set the game to record on NBC Sports, and it was blacked out on NBCSN because it was broadcast locally on CSN Chicago. So I have no way to watch this fucking game. Goddammit.

But, hey ... I told ya Toews was heating up, didn't I?
