Lynch is actually one of the smartest guys that the league had. He never was a kiss ass to the media and never gave them more than they deserve. He saved his money and retired in time to enjoy life..the guy is a role model - maybe not for everyone but definitley reminds me of Barry Sanders as far as how he is.

Remember when Warren Sapp was supposed to coach Tommie up then Tommie called Sapp out for being a liar? Ah man

Didnt anyone see Lynch's stellar performance on Brooklyn 99? He's too busy with a burgeoning acting career to give advise to Howard.

Oh no a player that might become unfriendly to the media! Good, fuck the media, gain yards, score TD's.

I remember people bitching that Cutler wasn't media friendly, because that's what kept him from Super Bowl glory.

This. And as sucky as Cutler could be on the field, I always admired the fact that he didn't give a shit what the media thought of him.

Fuck the media was Cutlers best trait, Lynch had many positive qualities, but those SB interviews were priceless.

Much ado about nothing. I can't remember him being difficult or weird or whatever in college or since then, either.

IMO Cutler's best trait are all the good things he does for causes/charity while actively avoiding media or recognition over it. I always question the motives of celebrities that shower themselves in media coverage over things they are doing.

NFL draft tickets

I was wondering if anybody knows if draft tickets are out yet?

Haven't seen them on stubhub but I heard they went on sale.

It's in Philly this year and I'm.gonna be in the area that weekend.

Somebody else.told me they don't go on sale to the general public.

Is that TRUE?

Even if it is, I would think you'd still see people selling them on stubhub....or is that illegal?

I just wanna go....not often Bears have the 3rd pick!

Why Watson might be Pace's QB...

If memory serves me right, Pace inquired about dealing Cutler in order to move up and draft Mariota a couple years back.

That was the rumor anyway.

Let's say it's a true story.

Mariota is the frequent NFL comparison of Watson.

Both had questions of their deliveries (very similar they are) and pro readiness. But both, unquestionably, were winners in college.

Mariota so far has been a decent pro QB.

Will Mariota's body of work, on the assumption Pace wanted him, be enough for.Pace to say Watson is his guy?

Bottom line...

Watson is cut from the same cloth as Mariota. All he did at Clemson was WIN.

As fans who have endured Jay Cutler for the last 8 seasons...we know what a winner at the position is NOT. Cutler was the ANTI- winner.

I want a WINNER. I'll take that in a HEARTBEAT at this point over questions of his arm talent or pro readiness. Questions which were there on Mariota and he seems to have adjusted quite well. I see no reason Watson won't too.

If it's a winner you want I'm pretty sure Tebow and Johnny Foosball are available.

Ok you have a point with INT's.

And yes Mariota is a better athlete.

But the questions about Watson focus on the waist up. Not his legs.
