While I think it will be tough to pull off a trade, they have to at least try. He's an experienced NFL QB, someone may jump on the grenade and try to revive his career.

There will always be the offensive coordinator that thinks he is the guy to finally get thru. The rest of them will spend the year worrying about what college they will go to after Jay has another Jay year.

This is not the Marshall trade where you take a 5th since the team is going to pay that entire inflated salary. This is a second or third since there is no long term guarantees that teams need to accept with Jay. He got paid, he is basically on a string of 1 year 12 million deals.
