Yeah, I was really surprised by the price. Thought it would be much closer to $1000 what with the $200-300 price bump Nvidia gave the other cards this generation. Seems like Nvidia is conceding their shit was overpriced a fuck.

yeah it was bs how both amd and nvidia(at least for the 6/8g aib models) ended up bumping their cards up to the next price bracket so instead of getting 70/90 series cards for 300 bucks you only got the 60/80 series cards, therefore spending the same amount as last gen got you nothing but a sidegrade.

with the 1080 price drop im interested to see what happens with 1070 prices, and im really interested in vega.
