At this point (assumming garrett is gone) it looks like #3 will come down to:
Dline:
Allen or Thomas
Safety:
Adams or Hooker
QB:
Watson or Trubisky
Going by bpa rankings of almost every draft "expert"; qb would be the worst pick of the six
Going by the "most important position in the nfl"; qb would be the clear pick at #3
I predicted Adams 6 weeks ago but wouldn't be opposed to Watson if Pace deems him as a franchise qb/leader as we can't come away from this draft without a "possible future qb" and Kayaa/Peterson don't do much for me. Pace could be in line to pick the first qb in this draft, and he was hired with the mantra of getting the position right.....now is his chance.
Thomas and Hooker seem like a reach and injury concern and Allen would be great if he could dominate like he did in college but not sold he'll be that same guy in nfl and bama players haven't seemed to be as dominant individually in nfl as they were under saban.
