Happy Banner raising and opening night at Wrigley! Looking forward to seeing the excitement tonight! I live a few blocks from the field, people are already out getting ready for tonight. Thankfully I'm working half a day then heading out. Hope a lot of you can make the game tonight, should be one hell of an experience seeing that banner fly!

I am a little tired of hearing these excuses from the contractors. We could not even call this winter a real winter here in Chicago. I heard them whining about getting a late start though. Assholes.

Meaning what?

Is something incomplete?

Seats behind home are back in. Bullpens are in. Triangle not yet ready?

Just all the last minute shit pushing completion dates like they do with all Chicago projects. I guess we will see how the sod holds up, I think they laid it last weekend.

I will be at the game. I hope this does not get rained out.

I also hope it stays closer to 70. It looks like they are saying we might drop down into the 40s tonight.

So.....the projects are complete, but you're bitching anyway?

OK that was pretty cool. Loved the old school ACDC. One of my favorite songs and very appropriate.

[h=3]Concourse work[/h][FONT=&quot]The right field concourse ramps and stairs have been replaced, and the bathrooms underneath these ramps have been refurbished. Three new concession stands behind home plate are still under construction and are scheduled to open in June.

I did read something to the effect that the contractor was blaming his delay on the WS and not finishing on time.

Sometimes you get beat but giving games away with walks is inexcusable....

Russell made two decisions at one time and cost the Cubs.
