Isaiah Thomas intends to play, but there's a good possibility he won't. Right now sounds like it's 50/50

Think you start Portis very soon. He's played a way better game the Niko.

BOOM!

I had a gut feeling the Bulls were going to come out strong against the Celts. They are clearly going to crash the boards for an advantage, even without Taj. Shout out to the young Man Portis for a good game (makes trading Taj understandable). I still think Wade and Butler will still play better yet, imo, and that's good for the Bulls.

The Celts are now at a crossroads.... will they lose their confidence, or will they endure the Bulls effort? Stay tuned for game two.

I do want to say that I thought the NBA/Ref's were going to give the game to the Celts at the end ... what was the spread?

Sidenote: Prayers and thoughts to Isiah Thomas and his family for their loss ....

Call it refs or choking or whatever but the Bulls almost did everything in their power to lose at the end. That said, nice win. Good to see Portis show up. Hopefully he can build off that performance. I expect the Celtics to come back and punch us in the mouth in game 2, but it's good to see a playoff win, even if I feel like we shouldn't be here in the first place.

Great win. My heart goes out to IT and his family. As far as Niko/Portis....I've been saying Portis is going to be a huge asset for a while. With that said, it doesn't matter who starts, it matters who finishes. And Portis got crunch time minutes. If you start Niko and he gets in a groove, you can keep him in there depending on Portis's play. If he mucks it up, and Portis is playing solid, you can close the game with Portis. In short, I don't give a shit who starts....as long as Fred recognizes the hot hand and the most effective match up.

LOL. Did you really think that ball went off Jimmy's hand? All you have to do is follow the direction of the hand movement. The ball always follows the direction of the last touch. Sorry you don't get that ... Oh, and how about that huge flop at the end? Anyhow ....

Moving on .... of course you expect a punch in the face ... you probably used to that growing up .....

Anyhow, the Bulls just stole game 1 from the "#1 seed"!

No I don't think the ball went off Jimmy. If anything there wasn't enough evidence to overturn the call and it should've gone the Bulls way, and yes Marcus Smart flopped like a fish, but thanks for jumping to conclusions.

And no I've never once been punched in the face, but again, thanks for being a petulant child.

Portis still blows.

I expect Niko to follow up is 1-9 Game 1 performance with his minutes decreasing more and more.

I had Celtics in 6. Will stick to that. They'll make adjustments, we won't.
