Will Happ get a shot to lead off or play second base before they send him back down?

He most likely is the 4 hitter in CF. Joe seems determined to play to his own beat.

My guess is that the Cubs may eventually have to trade Baez or Happ or Candelario to Arizona for Greinke. I prefer Baez.

Schwarber to the American league for a leadoff guy and bullpen guy or something.

1. Zobrist RF
2. Bryant LF
3. Rizzo 1B
4. Happ 3B
5. Candelario 2B
6. Russell SS
7. Contreras C
8. P
9. Heyward CF

If they keep Baby they need to move him to 4, 5, or 6 and have him hit for power. Curious what Epstein will do to piece this together. I guess in a perfect world zobrist can go, Baez grows up, Shwarber starts making contact and can hit lefties, Candelario succeeds as a depth player and they find an ace another way.

Epstein might have to choose his core prematurely.

just trade Kyle to American league where he belongs and be done with it. Get Zobrist out of there and lett Happ n Candy rake.

Schwarber for Moncada 2B?

then bryant to left. happ to third. and trade candy to arizona in the grienke blockbuster with prospects
