If it all works out, it makes a ton of sense. Long will be able to pull and block on the right side. Sitton is too fat to be an effective pulling guard.

You are 100% correct

You use you inside arm more and they don't want him over using the left hand.

Could very well also be a 2018 concept.

Sitton is not long for this team. Whithair should be the center for the long term. Which means they will have to replace the RG - which is probably the easiest of the Oline positions to draft.

Long couldn't get shoulder surgery in the offseason because of complications to his ankle. It's probably mostly about his health.
