None of that means anything to me. I want 4-1 or 9-2, or shit like that.

You ruined my night. You terrorist.

Being honest, I had to look up how U.S. betting odds worked.

If you bet 100$ at those odds on McGregor you would win 950$

If you bet 2250$ at those odds on Mayweather you would win 100$

Killed? Mayweather is going to dance all fight, then land a few light jabs and a couple counters for points, and win the fight. It will be insanely boring, and people afterwards will continue to wonder why they pay for Mayweather fights.

You're right...I forgot that Mayweather likes to dance around. Regardless, he will still win though. If I remember correctly, this is a boxing rules match

Mayweather dances because he is fighting elite competition. He has 26 knockouts and you are talking about a guy that had 17 TKOs in his first 25 matches including 7 title fights.

So I think how this fight goes will depend on how good McGregor ends up being. If Mayweather feels McGregor is a legit threat then he will dance. If he realizes early on that McGregor has no business being in the ring with him then I think he will beat the living shit out of him.

Mayweather is an eminently boring fighter to watch and I have never paid to see one of his fights but make no mistake, he has legit boxing power. He simply realized there was no need for him to risk getting knocked out because he was so much faster than his competition hence why he switched to a more defensive gameplam which also helped with his brittle hands. He's broken or fractured bones in his hand several times throughout his career hence why again he switched to more defense and using his speed to avoid getting hit and to dance.

I wouldn't even touch those odds. McGregor has absolutely no chance in a boxing match with a skilled boxer, let alone Mayweather.

Btw, has anyone seen the Klitchko vs. Joshua fight? Holy shit, instant classic. One of the greatest heavyweight fights I have ever seen. Both fighters won that night. MUST FUCKING WATCH!

Why? If you got spare cash doing nothing... (ala remy) might as well throw it down on the off chance Mcgregor lands a big punch.

I'm not saying bet your rent money on this lol, but would be fun to rake in some cash if a miracle were to happen.

The odds are probably much more even now, but even the opening line was not a good bet. It should have opened even wider, but Vegas knew that there would be people putting money on McGregor no matter what.

This is not really a fair fight at all. It's actually pretty ridiculous. McGregor is unlikely to even land one decent shot on Mayweather. Yes, it would be a miracle as you put it. And I'd need at least 20 to 1 to bet on a miracle. With all the money sure to be coming in on McGregor, betting Mayweather on the money line will become an absolute steal.

I thought the odds would be wider for Mcgregor initially.... but keep in mind Vegas doesn't really set odds based on who is gonna win directly... they just want to set odds that get an even spread of betting on both sides of the line and they adjust the odds to keep that balance.

I bet on the Bears to win the Superbowl a few years ago when I was in Vegas.... thus I've bet on worse lol

$1,000,000 to 1 odds. He bet $2 and he's half way there.

He won't get near Mayweather. Mayweather will do whatever he wants. The fight is a farce. Both these guys will walk away with scores of millions. The losers are whoever pays good money to watch this nonsense.

It's an exhibition, that's all. Floyd wins all 12 rounds handily, he will land 200 jabs and GOAT has zero chance of connecting his left cross, Floyd's speed and tactical are not only relatively next-level, this is analogous to the top rugby player stepping into a soccer goal and defending a penalty kick from Messi.

I will pay for PPV like I always do, have the boys over for cocktails and yuck it up regardless, to me it's an excuse for a boys' night,no expectations of anything but a farce and a spectacle.

Farce and spectacle seems an apt description... I have friends posting on FB like "PLEASE MY FRIENDS FOR THE LOVE OF BOXING, DO NOT PAY FOR THIS"

Why?

It is entertainment.... that is all any sport is.... entertainment... any PPV for anything is entertainment.... if I feel it will be entertaining, why not watch it?

Be like if Ronda Rousey had gotten a fight against a men's bantamweight.... she woulda got rekt ala Floyd vs Connor, but I woulda watched for the entertainment, why not?

This will even be more boring than Pacquiao/Mayweather. Who wants to watch Floyd dance around for 12 rounds flicking jabs with no pop. It will only get good when McGregor gets frustrated and takes him down with a leg kick and then pulverizes his face while sitting on him.

PS. I get to see it for 6.00. High def and 1080i

If that shit happens during this boxing match I am pretty sure half of Floyd's crew will shoot Mcgregor lol
