That's ok. After today Theo will think he is Cy-younger and offer the world.

Ian Happ is very quietly having a great season with the bat .899 OPS, .376 wOBA and 131 wRC+ and that was before today.

You're out of place here. How dare you post something positive in the Cub Forum's sea of negativity.

Much rather see him in LF everyday over Schwarber, but we know that not going to happen...

Going to be interesting to see who gets sent down and who loses PT when Schwarber returns...

Baez Russell Happ Zobrist LaStella Almora Jay

All more deserving to stay and play over Schwarber now..

Someone gotta go and Someone gonna lose some PT

Sahadev Sharma @sahadevsharma
For those seeing Dylan Cease was scratched & getting excited abt potential trade, it's nothing. Rotation rearrangement, he'll start tomorrow

I'm wondering if he's got a shot at NL rookie of the year. Presumably Cody Bellinger is the front runner but on a per PA sample I think Happ has done more

Chicks dig the long ball. Particularly in LA.

Cody: 2.2 WAR
Ian: 1.4

Ian would have to go on a HR tear to push past him. Cody is hitting HR's 1/10 AB. it is pretty stupid right now.

Jon Jay has been a life saver on this team.

He was leading the league in PH's when he was on the bench. It is not like he was doing nothing before. Just now he is being utilized as a lead off.

I get the whole Schwarber...lead off...B.S. from Joe but in reality the team is better with Jay leading off. Just reality.
