So, Maddon figured it best to get CJ back out there right after they finally get 2 on board and make it a 1 run game in 8th..

Carl needed to get back on the horse. They need him to be good. That said I'm concerned about his velo. The FB sat at 94 today. Still could have been a lot worse.

I heard a bit ago when his wildness became an issue, that he has a lot of movement on his fastballs that he has more success if he just throws it down middle of plate and ball will move around on hitters...
Over trying to hit corners because the ball will move way off plate

Ok, Schwarber needs to sit a day or two. He was just putting it together and his approach has fallen apart. The walk was nice, more of that please, the Ks were ugly.

I'm sorry but he just looks so terrible hacking at 3 high fastballs that everyone knows he can't touch..........

I'm really pulling for this kid but he needs to get in his head that he doesn't need to take big hacks and hit 500 feet homeruns every AB, especially when their just going to pitch him high inside fastballs that he can't touch...

That at bat right there shows how bad Baez is offensively. i think you have to choose either Russell or Baez and play them at a defensive premium position of SS because they play like one. Maybe you get away with moving people around, and Madden likes to anyway, and eventually LF and 2B will naturally filter out. Right now they have surplus.
