Hendricks usually does well on getaway day. Think CJ needs to go to Iowa a few days and see if Grimm has straightened himself out.

Hope to see a few splash replays this series.

No. Edwards does not need to be sent down. He was having a great season and has run into some command issues. He should be kept out of high leverage appearances for a little while but there nothing mechanically wrong with the guy.

I will be curious to see how Quintana pitches away from Wrigley. I think he will do well, which does give the Cubs a good shot of winning 2 of 3.

His last two starts he was having big problems locating the breaking ball. In Milwaukee, I'm thinking "why is he throwing so many fastballs"....when he did throw a curve, I found out. In Wrigley, he got them in the strike zone but they were up and fat. When he gets them down but over....he will once again excel.

Since the July 7 Willson Contreras' stats are insane .345/.412/.736 1.148 OPS .468 wOBA, 191 wRC+. He's not the only one excelling though, without looking who do these stats belong to?

.275/.367/.623 .990 OPS, .409 wOBA, 152 wRC+

.292/.352/.585 .937 OPS, .372 wOBA, 128 wRC+
