I don't think it breaks logic for Glennon to be more than one thing for Pace/Fox, when assessing how to move on and the QB situation.
1. 2017 Starter.
2. back-up plan if draft doesn't work out (since FA is BEFORE THE DRAFT)
3. possible future trade bait if he does well and the draft DOES WORK OUT
4. smoke screen for draft
5. possible future back-up and good guy to groom future QB.
Glennon is all those things. I'd rather Glennon go 0-4 to start the season than Trubisky take damage and possibly due the same due to inexperience and not quite enough around him for those 4 matchups.
