Honestly I prefer a blowout loss like yesterday to a close one. This team still has the second best record in the NL since the ASB and really the only thing that upset me yesterday was Arrieta's injury. If he can just miss a start or two and come back OK I still think we take this division easily. Milwaukee will grab the WC from Colorado though.

KB hit a double down the right field line, that was the only good thing about yesterday. Rizzo watched easy benders for strike 1 instead of pouncing on one in a later at bat.

This years you go we go is a 560K utility guy.

Yeah, you can't win in the playoffs without a bullpen. You usually don't even get to the playoffs without a bullpen. Luckily, they are in the worst division in baseball.

Getting a relief pitcher should have been a bigger priority than Q. It's simply more important.

Pretty funny. They were saying how the red sox used 12 pitchers in a game the other day. Not like we did not have bodies out there.

and instead of more pitchers, the cubs called up yet another catcher in davis, DFA's Hanneman who was immediately claimed by seattle. Why will there be 5 catchers here?
