Eh, Jay has been better than I ever thought he would be.
The reigning MVP who is allergic to RBI's is more troubling IMO.

Nobody needs to hear me rag more on Jay, but what does he do better than you expected?

Honestly, I base all my opinions on what I see watching the games. I don't have time to keep up with the #'s. Jay (just hit a RBI double) has actually had some big hits and some spectacular plays in the OF. He's not amazing, but hey.
Bryant doesn't have RBI's because he doesn't hit well with RISP.
Meanwhile, they're both making us look foolish. Cool by me, though.

I agree Zobrist should be playing but we all known since last year Zobrist asked for his rest after so many starts...
Hey he made contact and pulled the ball ... runner should of scored on that if he ran on contact like they usually do..

I said it and agree , bothTseng and Davis shouldn't of started together..
Heard Tseng starting was FO decision
So looks like FO and Maddon hoping to sneak one in there and get lucky, which now looks like they will...

6 Ks and only 1 walk in 3 IP pretty good..
2 homers
Seen plenty of really good pitchers struggle in their first starts...

he a much better pitcher in these situations then as a starter..

I'm happy.
But Davis sure as hell didn't get a hit. He needs to buy the scorekeeper dinner. He made an obvious error and wasn't charged, and reached on an obvious error, and got credit for a hit.

In all fairness to the unhappiness, it was 3-0 and 5-3 at the time...
It would of sucked to lose this game ahead of the Cardinals series and with Brewers getting a free home series against a terrible slumping Marlins team with just a 2 game lead...
