Wade needs multiple days off (I know there was one yesterday). The extra innings he's been pitching has to be a lot for him. Maybe I'm thinking too soft for baseball. Lol!!

Nah, can't be upset with Davis. The guy's been money. He's had, what, 2 bad games all year?

You're not. The Cubs need him for the playoffs. He's no use if he's burnt out before them.

This has been lingering in there (not the HR but the blown save) if you've looked at Davis' numbers in terms of velocity and in terms of how well he's pitched.

I for one don't mind him blowing a save. I was hoping though they'd both blow a save and get the win.

Wilson looked comfortable today and you can't string together good outings without getting the first one.

Contreras needs to figure out his hitting; looks far more like the guy in June than July/August since he's been back. And of course the Schwarber/Zobrist thing never looks comfortable.

obviously winning the first two makes this easier but it's far different to have magic number 2 v 4. Lose tomorrow and all the sudden you have to play fairly well to control your own destiny.

Didn't mind the blown save but wasn't really a fan of bringing him back out in the 10th though admittedly I'm not sure who you'd bring up if not him.

How I felt as well. I didn't want to see him back out there, but who's available to close the game down? Still probably would've chanced it with another pitcher.

More moves that all the fans stuck on Joes Teet do not question.

What is his problem with Schwarber? 1-1 game, lead off the inning with a pinch hitter and its not LaStella or Zobrist? That's just a move to get him off the list of available players for the game. Davis did not have it and 2 innings. Unbelievable how Joe continues to get a pass from these fans.

That's your complaint? Who a manager uses as a PH in a 1-1 game? I mean you want to "save" LaStella for hard throwers late in the game when contact/situational hitting is more pressing (i.e last night).

Amazing how long a leash a guy will get after he ends a 108 year championship drought.

The announcers were like, "He hasn't blown a save in a long time," and I was like SHUT UP. (Blows save.) Then they were like, "He hasn't given up more than one run in a long time," and I screamed SHUT UP ALREADY. (Jacks home run. Game over.)

If this isn't in the running for Worst Baseball Thought of 2017, it's close.

Brewers have good pitching. Gotta give credit where it's deserved.
Not really. The Cubs have made medicore pitchers look like aces.
