Can an umpire be suspended mid-series or anything? If the Cubs win, I don't want him back. That was such a wrong and unnecessary call that it's actually suspicious.

Why? That is the one move that has made sense!
What I don't get is he finally does NOT double switch, and it is in close game in which Davis bats 2nd in bottom of 8th.
At least this time he has defenders in, so it makes a lot more sense than last ten times.

I can’t argue Davis in the 8th because of who was up but man his pitch count is so high. Hope he has enough to get that 3rd out and if he does where does that leave us for tomorrow? Oh well got to get this one to even worry about that I suppose.
