They ran out of gas. BP blowing game 2 in Washington ended up looming very large. Not to mention they ran into a much more complete team.

Dodgers were just simply the better team. From coaching to talent. No shame in losing to them and making it back to the NLCS.

  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
  1. Michigan Wolverines
  2. Purdue Boilermakers
It was like that for us White Sox fans in 2006

How? You guys didn't get into the postseason.

Wow, the vitriol you Cubs fans have.

You'll never see a Sox fan watch as much playoff baseball with as much passion as when the Cubs are in it. Pretty insane really.

No doubt, and I also said that, though I won't give Dave Roberts as much credit as you. But the Cubs also looked lethargic. They spent too much energy climbing back into the postseason, then spent even more getting past the Nats. They looked dead the last 3 games. But yeah, kudos to the Dodgers. They're a really good team this year.

I read somewhere that the White Sox have never been to the playoffs in back to back seasons. Cubs just made the final 4 three straight times. White Sox fans should have zero to say.....next time they catch lightning in a bottle for more than a year, come talk to us.

Yeah that's true. They don't really have any type of sustained success either. If you thought being a Cubs fan was rough, look at the White Sox history:
