This is definitely a game we should lose on paper.

The defense right now is playing off the charts though, so I really think it comes down to early momentum. If we let the atmosphere in the dome get crazy, and give their offense some early momentum, this could be a 31-13 ass whoopin.

I predict we avoid a rough start, but still fall on the road 24-17.

I think this is going to be a statement game by the Bears, myself. Fangio is the secret weapon. He will have a gameplan for the Saints offense. The Bears offense will do much better against the Saints defense. 4-4 going into the bye week ... people will be forced to take notice.

One of these years, Drew Brees is going to hit the same wall that Peyton Manning did in 2015, and they Saints are going to go 3-13.

That being said, this is not that year and the Saints will win.

At some point the defensive scoring has to stop. I think it will. While I think they will knock Brees around, I don't think they will have a historic day.

The offense cannot not just flip a switch and win a game. The have not even begun to start building towards competence.

It is also a brutal stadium for visiting QBs.

Manning hit the wall because of injury not age. I think that he and Brady are going to still be QBing into their mid fourties.

Saints, as well as Eagles ahead of us on schedule, are experiencing O-line movement due to injury.

Therein lies our best chance as long as McPhee/Goldman/Hicks/Floyd remain healthy. Given what is left behind them...we cannot sustain anymore d-line injuries. (right now Bullard/Unrein offer a nice rotation, and maybe we can survive 1 more for a time)

But right now...the Saints better get right immediately after losing Warford. That is their issue looking at us along with keeping Howard under 5 yards a carry or you are screwed against us.
