On Oct. 24, 2016, at the start of the World Series between Cubs and Indians, ESPN showed a graphic comparing titles won in each city in previous 25 years.
For Chicago, they listed 6 by Bulls, 3 by Hawks, 1 by Bears, and completely forgot the White Sox.
Today, exactly a year later, they posted a graphic stating that this year's Dodgers are only the 2nd team in the wild card era, along with 1998 Yankees, to enter the WS with fewer than two losses, again forgetting the Sox, who finished the postseason 11-1.
Love it!
Nobody remembers. Nobody cares.
