Watson is shattering all time rookie records, nobody in the history of the nfl has started their career like he has. I benched him today for Wentz I’m more concerned about that then comparing him to Trubisky.

Have to agree with OP. Watson is on fire. He has turned a lousy offense into a great one. No QB has thrown for more TDs in his first 7 games. Meanwhile, Mitch "Not Much" Trubisky has failed to impress.

Watson was drafted into the perfect situation. Great offensive coach, great defense, talented play makers at WR. Trubisky was drafted into a shit hole, and has no play makers at WR.

If Watson were playing for the Bears, this dumbass coaching staff would have him doing the exact same thing Trubisky is doing right now for them. Credit to Obrien for building an offense around his young quarterback's skill set.

Yet that same franchise with the same coaches and weapons had a revolving door of QB's for the past 3 seasons. Houston offense was completely inept for years....that was until

Texans don't have the defense no more. Injuries and free agent losses made them look normal. Texans D last year was Superbowl calibre...not so much this year, they are getting scored upon often.

It's funny...ALL my friends said Watson wasn't the guy to pick...some even said he wasn't worth a 1st round pick.

I was like..."Ummmm, all he ever did was WIN in college...in some of the best games in collegiate history".

Yes I wanted Watson...and I wanted him over Mitch.

I still like Mitch bouncing back...but only if we bring in a QB whisperer.

Andy Reid was wrong on Watson too, so I can’t really blame Pace, he took the consensus top guy. At least we have a talented kid at the position, imagine being the Browns. Passing on Wentz and Watson at 12? Ouch.

He may never match these numbers I mean it’s all time great type of numbers, but nobody expected this.

Watson has two excellent receivers and has a ton of time to throw. He’s racked up some nice stats but they’re 3-4. It’s a shock when there’s separation by the Bear receiving
corp. Such a silly comparison at this point...
