I 'd rather trade down if that is they guy they are targeting.

I have no problem turning a top 10 pick into Ridley and another pick. I would be really happy with that. We're a wideout away from being pretty damn good offensively (assuming Meredith comes back okay)

Probably talked to the scout responsible for looking at WRs for the Bears to draft in the SEC. Pretty sure no one in the Bears Front office is even beginning to think about the draft yet....

The title of the thread is amazing. Makes it sound like a wild Bear wants to eat him.

Bears should be interested in every WR
Sounds rational to me. If Adams can be got, good. He'd provide the bonus of not being with GB, but I wouldn't pay too much for any one WR. Even the poor group the Bears have now can do some things (at least today they did). Add two moderately good WRs (IR return and FA) and draft the BPA. A great OLB pass rusher, a great RT, a shutdown CB any of those would be sweet. What the Bears cannot afford is the years of often whiffing on first round guys that Angelo seemed to have. BPA, a bit shaped by team need.

It won't be long before algos replace 95% of sports "journalists."

"Team with shit [position] interested in drafting [top player at position]."

"Coach With Losses>Wins May Be Fired."

"Losing Team Outplayed By Winning Team."

etc

If healthy i think Ridley can be an absolute stud WR for the next decade. His qb is absolute trash and hes still able to put up numbers. If hes there i would have no problem if we took him in the first.

Then they should be fucking fired. There's a reason they have a scouting department.

Yeah seriously. They're thinking about the draft all year long.
