I was at the game in Washington when he had his last return TD as a Bear tying the record. The entire stadium blew up, even Redskin fans were cheering lol. I think everyone enjoyed watching Hester apply his craft.

Thanks for including this. Back when I saw it live, I got SO much enjoyment out of hearing perpetual Bears-trasher Dan Dierdorf moan and cry during those returns in the Denver game. At a time when excitement would be called for, there he was, moaning, "I don't get it. I don't get it." I absolutely hated Dierdorf as an announcer, and he'd been dissing Hester earlier in that game. I bet if you listen really closely, you can hear Dierdorf's heart actually break in the booth. Thanks, 23!

I think he certainly deserves consideration. Will be very difficult to compare his impact versus a running back or receiver, so I could see it go either way.
Right now, I'm sure he's more worried about getting over the pain of knowing he won't get Omelete's vote.
