Some solid guys at the top but plenty of great players have been drafted after pick 8 in the first round, or in later rounds for that matter.

Interesting list. I guess its a good thing that it has no impact on a player picked #8 in this draft.

I sure hope we don't draft a bust WR like this in 2018!!

Bruce Matthews was picked at #9 so I'd trade down a spot for nothing or maybe offer a mid-round pick to drop one spot. A mid-round pick isn't much to give up if you're getting a nine-time All-Pro player in return.

Now how important was that win over cincy? Cost the bears #5 overall and sitting right in the middle of all the top choices regardless of position. I still don't see how a win over cincy does anything longterm for this franchise (wins are important crowd) vs the potential talent they could get at #5.

For the fucking love of god. You play every game to win. Sack the fuck up. God damned cry babies. You might have even been the guy I heard on the radio talking about how if you're not first you're last and there are 31 losers every season so stop winning to get the best draft pick. Probably one of the most loser mentalities that exists in sports.

Enjoy that win this offseason. I'm sure we'll be discussing how it was the turning point for the bears 3 or 4 years from now. But we could actually be discussing how an impact player from this draft is a turning point.

No I wasn't the guy on the radio. Cry baby? I asked a question, you took it to cry baby level with your idiotic wins mean everything in December when out of the playoffs rant.

edit: winning mentality... with a head coach (Fox) who made decisions so he didn't lose the game mentality... interesting way to create a winning culture/mentality. LOL

Possibly. I don't see this 2018 qb class getting the notoriety and hype they were getting at this time last year. A ton of time between now and draft day, but the underwhelming film on some of these guys won't go away before then.

Did you ever play a sport? If yes, did you ever play to lose? It’s important for the young foundation of the team to learn how to win in the NFL. These guys bust their asses and it is a brutal game. Nobody wants to lose. These guys could give a rat’s ass about draft slot.

There will be pro-bowl talent waiting for the Bears at the No. 8 pick. There will be pro bowl players drafted by teams in the second round, third round and more. It's there. You just have to hope the Bears identify it.
