He has the potential of being a Hall of Fame RB but you can never really tell how someone will translate to the pros.

2. Jaylen Samuels

Samuels totaled 76 receptions for 597 yards and four touchdowns in 2017. He could probably play WR if you wanted him there.

3. Kalen Ballage

Surprising speed (4.46) for a back his size at 6'2 225lbs. 44 catches for 469 yards and a touchdown as well that season.

4. Derrius Guice

He was playing hurt in 2017 so it's better to judge him off his 2016 tape. Guice had 18 catches & 124 yards with 2 Passing TD's. Guice is probably a better RB than Samuels & Ballage.

5. Rashaad Penny

He caught 15 passes for 224 yards and three TD's in 2017. It's rumored he didn't impress in the Senior Bowl.

yet penny caught one and took it to the house in the senior bowl....

man has 83 returns with 8 tds too.. you dont put someone with suspect hands back as a returner??.

San Diego State running back Rashaad Penny made a statement on the national stage Saturday afternoon, highlighting his performance in the Reese’s Senior Bowl with a 73-yard touchdown reception for the South team.

Virginia quarterback Kurt Benkert connected with Penny on the second-quarter TD pass. Penny also rushed nine times for 64 yards — including a 34-yard burst up the middle in the first quarter — to give him 137 yards in total offense.

The performance earned Penny co-MVP for the South along with LSU wide receiver DJ Chark, who had five receptions for 160 yards and a touchdown.

If leading the nation in rushing with 2,248 yards this season wasn’t enough, Penny’s efforts in the Senior Bowl seemed to reinforce predictions that he could be a second-round pick when the 2018 NFL Draft comes in April.

SDSU cornerback Kameron Kelly also played in the game, registering two tackles in the South’s 45-16 win over the North.

Penny’s next opportunity to shine will come in the NFL Combine, which is March 2-5 in Indianapolis. On-field workouts for the running backs will be March 2.

idk.. pennys not perfect..needs work in pass pro etc.... id be concerned about that low bench number... lack of effort or subpar s&c program at sd st.. when faulk came out he bypassed the bench.. Donnel Pumphrey came out last year with 5 reps..

Donnel Pumphrey was on IR all season though but I was we could use him as a guide.

penny and elliot have nearly identical combine numbers. Zeke didn't do the bench press at the combine.

bench isnt everything but it makes ye wonder about work ethic especially since he was behind pumphrey while he was there.. get in there n lift all day numero 2.. but sd st rbs hasnt been know for strength like dat.. s&c program?

at the same time howards was 15 reps with his shitty shoulder iirc...
