Would you do a pre draft trade with the Bills like the Eagles/Dolphins did in 2016?

03/09/2016 Eagles acquire the 8th overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft from Miami in exchange for LB Kiko Alonso, CB Byron Maxwell and the 13th overall pick in 2016.

Bears get #12 (1200) and #65 (265)
Bills get #8 (1400)

Screw that trade down clown crap, this could be a legit scenario.
For the Bills, its puts them in easy striking distance to trade up into the top 5 for their QB.
For the Bears, they add the first pick in the 3rd round but probably give up the chance to draft Nelson/Edmunds/Davenport.

Bills want to move up a lot higher than 8

I'm all for a small trade down at this point. Target Vita Vea, Davenport (still a possibility), or one of the other pass rushers.

Pace has never traded down in the 1st. Traded up twice. Never down.

Giants have the 12th pick in the draft. Is that a typo? They'd have to give up 21 & 22 and Bills 3rd round pick to go that high.

Before Free agency, I was liking the idea of something like this, now after this real nice free agency, I would rather get a bonafide stud at#8

It was the bengals pick... they got Cordy Glenn in the trade

And NO, I wouldn't do this trade. I know what the trade chart says, but I don't care. That's less than what the Bears gave up to move up 1 spot last year. Granted that was in the top 5, but the Bills have to give up slightly more than that to move up 4 spots.

well whatever it is, the premise is do you give up the elite talent at 8 in exchange for the 65th pick.

I wouldn’t make that decision until draft day. If Barkley, Chubb, Nelson, or Edmunds are available, I’d draft them. Otherwise trade down.

I'd trade up or trade down, but I'd probably want to wait and see who's there before doing either.

He also wanted to trade up for quarterback before.

The man trades up to get what he wants when its at a reasonable cost. I can't fault him for that logic either.

Tells me that he zeroes in on his Target and gets him. He doesn't have a bunch of similarly rated players that he's be ok with in the top of the draft.

I think right now I'd be on the phone to the Colts to see about #8 & one of the 4ths for #6. If they're in a pick collecting mood and not that worried about a few early spots here and there that would get us in a much better position.

For the Colts #3(2200), they got the Jet's #6(1600), #37(530), #49(410) plus next year's 2nd which for the sake of arguement is in the middle of the round at #48(420) comes out to 2960 or plus 760 to the colts. This possible Bills trade at plus 65 to the Bears seems kinda puny.
