That basically the problem with this team..Prove me wrong, Cubs. Prove me wrong.
Down 4 with 5 innings to play, the Cubs, one of baseball's highest scoring teams in recent years, have little to no chance of scoring 5 times.
Wind blowing in.....need to manufacture some runs......hey, there's a fly to the track that would be a HR most days, hit by the guy who can't hit a HR.
Man on....let's get him in....fly ball to deep left. Caught easily as the wind holds it up.
Nice approach at the plate guys. Way to adapt!
Their whole starting lineup outside of 4-3 Heyward are power pull guys..
You just wont see them often doing the little things to score runs..

Let me know when it not "early" anymore so i can start enjoying cubs baseball this year, this team just unwatchable in April and May..
6 and 7 start to the season wasnt exactly how i imagined it after seeing the schedule...

Darvish has 1 QS(6 ip 1 ER(hr) 9 k's 1 walk vs mil)
Hendricks has 2 QS(gave up 2 vs pit yesterday over 6 and 1 vs Mia over 6)
Lester has 1(shut out Milwalkee)
Q has 1( shut out Milwalkee)
No one has gone 7 but I wouldn't expect to see that to be honest. That's not how maddon rolls.

Interesting..they had 5 QS giving up a total of 4 runs and lost 3 of 5 games
Darvish QS 1 run team lost
Lester QS 0 runs team won
Quintana QS 0 runs team won
Hendricks 2 QS 1 run and 2 runs team lost both
Maybe this should show that Maddon needs to roll different dice and allow his starters to go a little deeper in games cause it seems that he wasting away opportunities of winning games..
