I don't see how people can be upset if they pass on Landry. We know fuck all about his medical situation.

If he's healthy, he's a steal in the 2nd round. If he's not, then you're fucked. Can a perennial double-digit loss team make that kind of gamble? That's my only issue. If this is a better team overall, it doesn't hurt as badly. But we need every upgrade we can get. We need every potential day one contributor we can get.

We know the Bears had private meetings with Jackson, Daniels, Oliver, Sutton, Key, Landry and Miller. Also St. Brown...

Wait

Where are the dipshits advocating for Landry at #8?

The draft is deep the next batch of 30-60 players.

I fully expect pace to NOT be in love with someone and trade don 5-15 spots in round 2 and add a 3rd pr 4th

The OL talent is bumping.

Williams, Daniels, Hernandez and Corbett are Day 1 starters.

Same who thought they knew everything about Cam's knee recovery. Not exactly the same injury & player situation, but the ignorant presumptive response is.

Chance one or two of these guys drops to mid 2nd for a trade-down pickup???

Draft a big ugly in Hernandez and be done with it. A decent consolation for those of us who may be bummed that Nelson didn't slip to us.

We have to go OL now. With the Smith pick and the Sitton cut Pace forced himself into drafting oline 2nd round.

Keeping in mind that the Bears were trying to trade up into the first, and making a safe assumption that it wasn't for Lamar Jackson, their target is still there. (Unless it was Sony Michel, which is doubtful).

So they would still be looking at a trade up, no?

One of the reports said it was for Mike Hughes

James Daniels and Anthony Miller are my personal favourites.

James Daniels is the total package. Can play both guard and center, and doesn't have to play center. His mobility, technique and elite balance makes him an elite talent and someone who'll outplay his draft position. All his weaknesses are related to lack of strength, which is very fixable. Expect James Daniels to start early and play at a pro bowl level as a second year player.

ND is horrible.
Go OL, the WR talent in this draft was poo poo the whole time, and I told you this months ago.

If we can grab a day #1 starter, take him at G or C.

We can't whiff on an injured player again- enough is enough.

I would expect us to go O-line in 2nd round, then Harvey can coach him into a better player. I really don't think our offense needs help in the form of playmakers, but I do believe we can get someone in the 2nd round on the line to mold into a top player. Isn't that why we got one of the best positional coaches out there?

Cold have been Taven Bryan, who a few people are comparing to Justin Smith.

If OLB Landry is medically red flagged, then O-Line (Hernandez, Daniels) or WR (Sutton) is the way to go, maybe, just maybe CB J.Jackson (since it's not position of greatest need for the team).

If Guice and Mason Rudolph go before 39 that will help too.
