He's been good so far today (Chatwood).

"Good" being a relative term....4 walks, 2 hit batters, over 70 pitches and he's still pitching in the 4th.

He won't make 5.

I think you're right. Could've been 3 outs if Rizzo went to 1st and Schwarber didn't waddle out and miss the play.

4 runs. 1 hit. Little league quality inning right there.

WTF was that Schwarber...

Lol

You guys can get on me all you want but ill be really surprise if we dont see 2 or 3 new position players next year..

Only guys id say are safe would be Contreras Rizzo and Bryant

No set CFer

Tank out in LF who basically a streaky HR hitter

Guy who cant hit in RF

2Bmen who flashy with glove but streaky hitter

SS who solid defensively but a flip of the coin with bat

Id be very surprise if Epstein and Hoyer don't change things up..
These guys are getting worse not better since 2015/16

Took them 10 games to get 4 runs,
Might be too much to expect a couple more today

Honestly, it seems like Chili got too much credit during that 5 game hitting streak and these egomaniacs want to hit the ball as hard as possible even if it is directly into the shift.

What five game hitting streak? Is it even a streak at that point?

Are you referring to the five game winning streak, in which absolutely nobody credited an offense that scored 9 runs in five games, three of which we won because they were shutouts?

Walked dejong after he had him 1-2. Rizzo made the whole inning by his throwing error - though I think Russell's effort was also poor.

Yeah, but there would've still been runs on the board which were all instigated by a pitcher not being able to throw the ball over the fucking plate. A major league pitcher. You would think that would be a prerequisite to be in MLB....apparently not. Sorry, I can put up with a lot of bad baseball but a pitcher that can't throw a strike really pisses me off.

Wow. With the earlier screw up, in front of a huge crowd....to fall down and still stay with the ball...that takes some concentration.
