Indicted, but never went to trial over a sexual assault. Seems odd to me that with all the research teams do into draft picks that they wouldn't have known about this. In any case, thoughts on what happens to him?

Says the case was dismissed because the alleged victim declined to testify.

Nothing will become of this, other than tarnishing his reputation.

The fact that it happened over 20 years ago also will make the story less intriguing.

Owner, GM and President of the Lions stated that they "believe and have accepted Coach Patricia’s explanation and we will continue to support him."

Watch 1 woman take to twitter and claim she was a victim of sexual assault by Patricia.... he will be convicted in public court of opinion in under 24 hrs.

Lions brass just hoping this embarrasment goes away.

Will the media get the victim to speak out? Was she paid to be quiet?

By who? Patriots? Lions? I can't imagine that would have been in 1996.

No, I wouldn't expect the team to do a payoff, I thought MP himself, but he was still in college. The victim backed away because she couldn't handle the stress/pressure of a trial.

There were people posting on this board about the allegation when the team was going through coaching hires. There are posts on this board about this several months ago. How were the Lions not aware? They had to have been aware and are just trying to cover up now.
