Sean Marshall has denfinetly proved himself to be a great relif pitcher. His breaking ball is something to reckon with. This is what we need from the cubs bullpen, what do you think??

Sean Marshall has been a blessing in the bullpen this year. I'm happy with what he has given us.

imagine if we can get one more really good RP like KERRY WOOD.... give us Marshall for 7th and Wood for 8th and the hardest closer to hit in baseball in the 9th

He has been as good to make first all-star game. I think he will keep pitching like this and get his first all-star.

He and Marmol are the only 2 bullpen arms the Cubs can rely on

You forgot about Grabow and Howry. Our bullpen is awesome!

I doubt Marshall makes the ASG because of the abundance of good closers. He has to pitch GREAT to make it.

Yeah, really rare to make the ASG as a reliever with no saves.

He has been GREAT. There aren't shut out closer this year besides Capps who blew a save today and Marmol. Cordero has struggle, etc.

I'm really pleased for him. He's the sort of guy managers love to have, he'll pitch wherever you want him to. In the rotation, long relief, set-up or even closer. He's been great in the 'pen this year and although he may not do enough to be an All-Star his contribution to the Cubs this year has been massive.

Sorry, I just don't think he will make it. He is doing great though.

I honestly don't remember the last time a non-closing reliever was on the AS Roster for either league. I'm sure it's happened, but idk.

2 years ago when Marmol made the all star game. He wasn't the closer then.

Marshall has been a beast with under a 1.0 ERA in May. His 12-6 curve is nasty stuff
