I get it. Gim was hitting .143. It is almost like 'never give Contreras a day off' I honestly believe that they need to utilize Caratini more like they are today. 1B/3B OF get his bat out there more and if a injury happens you just move him behind the dish.

well, I think it speaks more for Darvish returning. They wanted to give him a shot with Giminez but he never pitched again. Just hope Carrot top takes it well. There will be a move coming when Bryant comes back anyway, so this is kind of surprising, guess we will go down a pitcher.

Pretty much why i said in ST when i chose Caratini as the backup ...

He a SH who will give them a decent bat and can also give them more flexibility defensively play C IB 3B and LF if needed

Stupid substitution by Maddon. Has Lastella in on deck circle for Quintanna. Then he pulls him for Rizzo. Lastella is the better hitter and Maddon surely has given the kid a negative vote with this stupid move
