A lot of Bear love in that article. Guy has a hard on for Fangio.

Wait, did that writer just hold up 17 tackles as proof of production following physique? He also cites position fit issues: Buffalo played Lawson at OLB year one, then DE year two (and he thinks he'd play where in Chicago? "...opposite of Akiem Hicks?" Wait, what? This makes sense...). Then again, he also said that Fangio runs "aggressive 3-4 schemes," so, yeah, that dude hasn't a clue what he's writing about.

Holy fuck, I nearly lost my shit:

With the Bears having so many capable and developing pass rushers, Lawson—provided he is healthy—would be a great option to lineup up opposite of Akiem Hicks, who finished with 8.5 sacks in 2017.

Thanks OP, that was well worth the read...

Pass. We have enough guys with potential who are often injured. Do not need another one.

Didn't like him much on draft day. Like him less now.

The player has talent. I am worried that he is a "head case". Players like that are not good for any team.

Vic Carucci covers the Bills and said on NFL Network Radio he wouldn't be surprised if he's cut.

I love to see Vic have a chance to develop him a little. Vic has a way to get the best from a player like Shaq. If he's cut, and Pace can get him cheap on a prove it deal, he's be nothing less then good depth while some of our young guys develop.

He was picked 19th overall in 2016, and that would mean he has this and next year on a rookie contract, so money should not be an issue.

If they think he could be a pass rusher OLB, then why not. We need someone to step in that role and the more bodies we throw at the position the better.

Shaq was a great player in his day, but he is 46 now, not sure how much he has left in the tank. :smug2:
