I like what I’ve seen from Lavine so far in the pre season. I think he’s going to have a nice year. Portis looks good...hoping we can get him re signed. I’ve already seen enough of Wendell. He’s the real deal and I believe he’s a future all star. Cameron Payne looks like he’s slimmed down a bit....he’s still trash though.

Thought I’d drop this gem here. I’ve got a friend that’s a Heat fan. He swears to me Josh Richardson is better than anyone on the Bulls and thinks I’m an idiot when I say otherwise.

In fairness to your friend, Josh Richardson is probably better than at least half of this roster

this team is just painful to watch. I see one set where it seems like everyone on the floor touches the ball, the next set its one player dribbles up court and shoots or finds Lavine or Blakeney to shoot.

The team is painful to watch but just might be good enough to grab the 8 seed in the weak East and set this rebuild back even more.

Idk, maybe Jabari can find a way to shoot us out of playoff contention

At this rate Taj will be in a retirement home and you'll still have that signature

Cameron Payne is trash. Why is this franchise so enamored with him?

3 preseason games in and Jabari is already benched. Hoping Fred has the balls to keep him there. Part of me is glad he is sucking so we don’t feel obligated to give him a big, long term deal.

Jabari doesn't need to be the team leader, he needs to make himself reliable #1. Keep learning, then show up when it counts. At least for this season. Next year, he better break out to earn that fat paycheck, but I don't see that happening without that #1 priority.

This is Zach's season to prove his worth, it's Dunns season to prove his role, and it's Carter's season to show he's as versatile as he likes to claim. Any/all of those guys fail to do so, and we're back into a deeper rebuild than anyone expected. Parker is just a rehab project with an ugly contract right now.

He is really amazing to watch, he jitters all around pretending to play defense, but as soon as it time to get the ball back its full speed to the offensive side.

looks to me like Aricidicono has the best knowledge of the offense freddy wants to run.

Holiday and Blakeney need to put on 30 pounds each to even look like NBA players.

I just cant see desire to show up when it counts when he is being used off the bench. Its kinda like Carmelo, hating the idea before getting to a super team. This is far from a super team, but I dont know if Parker can even play the 3 anymore.

pre-season over, now moving on

Before unsticky.... ideas?
Whole season IGT? Month to month? how should we do this?

If anyone wants to make a nice IGT for opening game/month, week.... *season*, by all means.

This team doesn't give me the desire to make multiple IGTs :(

Parker never could play the 3. He was never that athletic. And in today's league he's even more of a liability there. If he's not willing to play the 4 he's gonna have to get used to coming off the bench.

Is there enough conversation from game to game to warrant multiple IGTs? One season-long thread should be enough.
I'm gonna guess not enough for game by game discussion. So probably going to have a season long IGT as you said.

Unless the team suddenly becomes good, no there isn't enough to warrant single game threads.

Plus I feel like most of the solo Bulls posters here are gone due to the flood of Bears fans.

But hey, maybe this team becomes good.
