I have been watching the Cubs for 55 years and have never seen a HR hit to that spot out of the park. Willie Mays used to hit a lot of HRs on that same path but his best were only 20 rows up and we were amazed at the time

This is the longest I ever saw....Roberto Clemente never hit a ton of HRs but he probably could have if he tried to. I could never get anyone to believe that I saw someone hit one that if it had been a few feet over would have hit the scoreboard.

I saw Kingman hit the second house up Kenmore.

Lou Boudreau screamed “I thought he hit the last one far...this one’s in Milwaukee!”

I know Lester is the de facto ace, but if Hamels keeps this up i wouldn't mind seeing him trot out for Game 1 of any series

I've always wondered how far Bryant's 495ft HR in 2015 would've gone had it not hit the video board. I mean, he almost hit it over the video board. I imagine it would've gone way down Kenmore and kept rolling had the board not been there. Might've been farther than Kingman's shot.

Zo is really impressing this year. Major kudos.
After last year, I had him fading into retirement stealing big $ on the way.
He’s earning it.

Either way, if both are clicking that one heck of a 1-2 punch to start a series..

Key would be Hendricks in game 3
If he up to par, he probably favored over any other no. 3 starter

Ian Happ has a lot of talent. He has multiple high-end tools for playing this game at the highest level.

Knowing how to run the bases is not one of them...

Assuming they go on to win this, we will be 5-0 in his starts.

So did it take 130 games to finally find and settle on a leadoff hitter...

No. He is slower than I am and can’t play D. He may hit just enough to hurt us. ?

That's interesting because I remember seeing Clemente hitting most of his Wrigley HRs to RF

One of my other memories of Clemente was him standing on the RF warning track and throwing on the fly to the plate in batting practice

If Baez is going to get thrown out that easy trying to get to 2B, he should stick to hitting HR.

Many haters like you were ready to throw him in the trash last offseason

Well... two challenge plays tonight, and I thought neither was conclusive enough to overturn the call on the field. And both were overturned.

Ah, well. One went for us and one agin' us. I guess that's fair. And yeah, I thought this last guy was really safe, so I can't argue.
