Baker Mayfield looks like a seasoned vet in the pocket in only his first NFL game.

I guess the NFL experience excuses for second year QBs wont work.

He’s pretty special.

But I think Trubisky is really similar, in a slew of ways. Mayfield just came out Mrenica experienced, and refined.

Trubs is tighter. I think he’ll loosen up, just as Mayfield will regress from time to time as well.

Still, this is fun to watch!

Baker is fun to watch. Always has been. He’s gonna throw a lot of picks though.

Am I a rock? We’ve never spoken.

I was just saying that they have a similar vibe. No crown or massive comparisons or predictions. Just that it was and is fun to watch.

On to next drive.

Here we go again. Didn’t we do this with Watson last year, Darnold a few weeks ago, and now Baker.

And it will keep happening because there is nothing more exciting than a rookie quarterback hitting the ground running in this league.

Too bad we did not get that out of Mitchell.

Holy shit. One game against the Jets.

You mean the Jets with Darnold who looked like a freaking stud in his first game? So here we have two young QBs who people are "overrating", weird how no one outside of Bear fans have ever "overrated" Mitch. Hmmmm

Deshaun hasn’t looked like he did last year. And it took Darnold all of 2 weeks to look like this tonight. It’s not pretty for him. All I’m saying is this board has a tendency to over react to literally everything

WE didn't get Mayfield. WE got Trubisky. Trubisky was known to have little experience and would take a while.

If you want to watch Mayfield you should stop following the Bears and start following the Browns. If you want to watch Mahomes, Watson, Darnold or any other QB go follow those teams.
If you continue following the Bears that is your acceptance that you will be watching Trubisky who needs time. He is not those other QBs.

There may be a time for this incessant whining about Trubisky but it is not his 2nd year when we won't have a 1st round pick for another 2 drafts.
Get over it or get out.

So you're saying Watson, Darnold, and Mayfield looked great as rookies while others did not.

Thanks.

Respectfully, but I was not over reacting...just reacting.

Plus it sure is ducking nice to grab the over on this. Now, Darling Darnold just needs to remain pedestrian.

The game where the Jets supposedly knew the Lions play signals? Which, thus far seems plausible, because they haven't come close to repeating that performance.

Im honestly confused by trubisky i think his problems are mental he needs to shake off the cobwebs but he makes some great throws and makes good decisions at times.

Jesus Christ....I logged on looking for a Thursday night game thread so I could comment on how good Baker Mayfeld looked and I found the whiny fucking Bears fan complaining about Trubisky.

Get a fucking life loser
