I was always a Rex guy and I always thought it was unfair he was kept on a short leash after QBing the team to the Super Bowl with the defense they had.

I wanted to stay with Orton... especially going into the Superbowl.

We not only had a great Defense, they produced a ton of turnovers.

We had a good running game.

Orton was consistent, you can work with that, and improve that; and he didn't lose you games. Grossman was inconsistent, you can't work with that.

"People love nostalgia." Yeah, right. CBMB posters on both sides of that fight were such vicious ass hats that the QB war had to have its own forum, but that utterly failed to contain the hostility. The level of pro/anti Trubisky trolling now is tame and civil in comparison.

It's just getting started. Being a complete vicious ass hat only 3 games in would be too much. Wait for mid season.
The more people whine about a QB 3 starts into a system the more I hope he turns into a great. They will never live it down.
I'll have no problem having said give him time even if he's a complete bust.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Notre Dame Fighting Irish
Anyone but Rex. You throw a pick-6 in the SB as a Bears QB and you've earned my hate for life. Dude could lose games in spectacular fashion.

Orton
Cause all we needed was a game manager our defense could have handled the rest.

In 2005/2006: Grossman. The numbers made that case.

By 2007/08, Orton had to be the guy.

Hey! I lived in my parents basement in 2007!

I did not eat cheetos or drink mountain dew code red, however.

He was a moron. Orton, at least, showed improvement throughout his career and ended up the more respectable player.

I'm in a keeper fantasy league where the QB gets a huge bonus for 300 yards...when Orton went to Denver I drafted him as my backup and everybody laughed at me and he finished top 10 in points because of numerous 300 yard games.
