It is nothing for an NFL team to dish out 100$ for anything.

You assuming they are used in any sort of capacity by anyone that matters, is absurd.

LOL yes it is definitely a leap of faith to think NFL teams actually use the things they pay for

I'm sure ESPN pays to use it too just because they can

Do you know how many $400 NFL helmets are in an NFL locker room? $300 jerseys?

Way more than they'll ever use.

Short answer would be: why not?

I doubt any coach of any team even logs in to PFF once a year.

LOL @ your ESPN comment... as if a sports broadcasting program has anything to do with anything.

I appreciate you posting those stats. Even though I'll use them in RL to defend and brag about our Bears, I know it was against an injured Aaron Rodgers, a regressing Wilson and shitty Bradford.

Are you really comparing an extra helmet to paying for analytics data?

Sunday night football has used the data too during games

I can't believe your actually making this argument but based on your previous comments it makes sense

It's a well known universal fact that PFF sucks donkeydick. I'm sorry if that upsets you.

Numbers don't confuse me.

Apparently the difference between objective data and subjective analysis confuses you.

That's okay tho... Join the CCS club!

Again - we're talking about value

Clearly subjective analysis has some value to NFL teams or they wouldn't be paying for it

NFL teams are speaking with their money right now - you are just screaming and whining too loud to hear it

Phil Emery admitted publicly he used it. It does not work.

If that were true he would of drafted Chandler Jones over mcshithead.

Emery explains stance on Bushrod stats

Dan Pompei, Tribune reporter
In his season-ending news conference, Chicago Bears general manager Phil Emery cited Pro Football Focus’ statistical analysis to explain how the team’s offensive line played.

He did not cite the website to explain why he signed Jermon Bushrod, undoubtedly because the website did not paint a very flattering picture of Bushrod.

PFF ranked Bushrod as the 44th best offensive tackle in the NFL, barely better than J’Marcus Webb, who ranked 47th. And they ranked Webb ahead of Bushrod in pass blocking efficiency.

Asked about it Wednesday, Emery said, "It comes down to this. We’ll use statistical data to help us differentiate between players, but that isn’t the final evaluation. We invest in staffing and spend a lot of time evaluating players. We formulate our own thoughts."

Emery referred to PFF a lot, I just pulled the first article. He actually talked about it in his initial press conference with the Bears.

I remember all this type of shit , but can't remember what I had for lunch.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago White Sox
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
The analytics PFF sells to NFL teams is worlds more in depth down to the snaps than what they offer to the public. They also pay a shit ton more for it.

They also occasionally quote Madden rankings and use Madden simulations...

So, calm your titties there Sally.

And yet they still don't pay to be able to use those.

Try again.
