Can Tarik Cohen take Howard’s job?

Howard doesn't seem to have a big role in this offense. Even before today he's been used sparingly. I could see us trading him and getting another all-purpose back in the offseason (FA or draft).

Situational back. Love the diversity.

Cohen on those wheel routes is going to score a shit ton of TD’s. He’s always open on them.

If Howard was still dropping passes I'd be fine with replacing him with a better back, but not Cohen. You need a back that can break a tackle and get that 3rd and 1. Cohen doesn't have that. Since Howard worked on his receiving game he's become a much better 3 down player.

It's not only about being able to catch the ball. He can't run the routes that Nagy asks of his backs: the wheel routes, angle routes and seam routes up the middle.
