#Bears sign OL Bryan Witzmann to take spot of OLB Sam Acho, who was placed on IR. Witzmann was released by #Vikings on Friday. He started 13 games at LG for #Chiefs last season so he knows the offense.

The Bears are still evaluating the position of left guard, which most recently rotated between veteran Eric Kush and rookie James Daniels. Matt Nagy credited Harry Hiestand for creating continuity that allows that rotation to work.

Matt Nagy basically confirms RB Jordan Howard was a little upset of his usage last Sunday. He says he's still a big part of the offense and said he understands his usage will fluctuate due to game plan. #Bears

Howard might have to get used to it. Probably will happen a lot more often going forward.

The Bears officially placed outside linebacker Sam Acho on injured reserve with a torn pectoral muscle. To take Acho's spot on Chicago's 53-man roster, the Bears signed outside linebacker Bryan Witzmann on Monday.
