Before opening the thread I would've said Todd Bowles. Not sure he gets canned though as the Jets aren't god-awful this year.

He was mentioned in the post above mine.

Oh. Sorry about the confusion. I didn't know you were replying to someone because there's literally no quoted post in your post. I thought you were replying to the thread and the thread makes zero mentions of Schwartz so I was like, "what the heck is this new guy even talking about, Jim Schwartz? He's not even a poll option or in the OP, what the heck? Am I missing something?" But looks like you just didn't use the "Reply with Quote" button to make your post make sense to your readers.

Sorry again, classic mixup.

In all seriousness, I think Sean McVay would be an excellent choice.

Jets may want an offensive coach for Sam Darnold.

Old white guys who are defensive minded is not the trend in the NFL. Of the teams looking to change the HC most are offensively deficient. You

Marvin Lewis isn't taking a DC job. I suspect when he's done coaching he'll join the Bengals front office.

Vic aint leaving. He signed on with Nagy and at his age, in a time where defense is diminishing in the overall scope of importance, he's latched on. I'd put the odds at 10-1.

I think Vic has so much pride for his boys on D. He loves this team. He's not going anywhere. Who's the highest paid coordinator right now?

Vic has a nice thing here as Head Coach of the Defense, but that role still doesn't have the prestige of being the actual head coach somewhere. Who internally could be a good replacement? Ed Donatell? Jay Rodgers? Bears are a disciplined bunch on defense, these position coaches are perhaps some unsung heroes to start the year.
