Laugh all you want, no one talks about Clemens as the greatest ever but that talk has started already for Clayton

Not a single person is calling Kershaw as the greatest ever. Lol... He's failed his team in the playoffs time and time again, including last night. But yea he's the GOAT, lol.

Did we not see the stat of this being a matchup of two starters with career sub 3.00 era minimum 1000 innings/1000K? I believe only time that has happened for a game 1. so yeah, I am going to say this is the best, care to show otherwise?

not

But one was Playoff Kershaw who does not have a sub-3.00 era.

Red Sox sweep. Especially since they got that W from David Price.

True, but limited sample size.

Not very limited. He has a lot of postseason starts and the biggest spread between regular season ERA and postseason ERA.

Quite famously being discussed as biggest playoff underperformer ever.

Man, the regulars in here must be thrilled with the additions of richb688 and kapooncha

How did you let him escape anyway? Last I saw he telling everyone in the Sox Forum that the Sox should fire everyone.....just another douchebag to add to my growing "ignore list".

The forums reads a lot more quickly when half the posts read as "this poster is on your ignore list".

I am saying the Dodgers win tonight's game and at least give the hope that this could be a series.

Whew, Walker Buehler can pitch. If only the Cubs had a young pitcher like that, oh wait. A rotation with Buehler and Dylan Cease would've been sick.

Immediately before the Kinsler error in Bottom 13, I saw the field and there is nothing but divots and flaws everywhere.

How can an MLB field be this awful?

How in God’s name is that ruled a hit?

A good throw has him out ten feet.

After the cubs final two games of the season there's something cathartic about watching 2 teams in the world series struggling to score runs.

Amen.

Dodgers caught a break on that “swing at strike three” walk in the 13th.

Hell of a game, that.

Nothing like an "unplanned doubleheader". Over 7 hours...
