Idiotic that it has not happened before that.

I do not need him at Halas Hall. Hire a snapper and holder to go there with him every week.

Apparently this guy said the commute was too tough for him to get practice in at Soldier Field. Can the Bears get this guy a limo or at least an Uber?

So that was a serious article that he never practices at soldier field? It sounded so dumb I thought it was fake news. Incredible this has gone on this long. Is this normal with past kickers we’ve had?

The Bears mis-spelling Equipment Manager should spell his name "Parker" this week just to send a message.

As long as the guy is willing to put in the work to correct his mistakes. Hopefully he got all his bad kicks out inthat game.

I'm predicting a big day for Parkey against the Vikings including possibly a game winner. That's how it seems to go around here LOL one week he's being crucified by everybody next game he'll get a ton of praise.

Nah, he's been getting them in all season.

There is Metra. Only a short Uber ride from Olgive to Soldier field. The commute excuse is bullshit. Parkey doesn’t have to be at Soldier field during rush hour. He is just a lazy piece of shit who doesn’t want to do his job. Only when Parkey sees he will be replaced, then Parkey is motivated.

It's grass and outside at 40* with little in the way of wind. I hope he gets comfortable and his head straight but I'd expect him to make everything he missed at away games in GB or Pittsburgh. It's absolutely no excuse.

Yes, that was a pathetic excuse. Jon Lester and Ben Zobrist have been known to ride a Divvy to Wrigley Field!

Either Thayer or Kruetz said that the bear kicking team always spent time at Soldiers field. You have the long snapper, punter and kicker that have no reason to be with the team. You bring in some for tryouts that can do whatever needs to be done with preparing special teams, if they even do that.

Field goal unit might practice at Soldiers field a couple of days before home games.

I am glad Nagy changed his mind on this-yesterday he said there was no need to practice there. I guess sleeping on those missed field goals and extra points changed his mind. He said in the past Butler and Robbie Gould would practice a couple days before home games there to get used to the wind conditions. I would have thought a 3 point specialist would have been practicing there, common sense.

Was he practicing in Canada with wider goal posts?
