He does dumb shit. Nice Ints champ. Thank the lord he's mobile. Now Im not saying everything he did was bad tonight, because it wasnt. Howev, the triple fucking coverage INT was one of the worst decisions Ive seen Mitch make. Fucking one read and flee Mitchell.

That shit isnt going to fly against the saints in the playoffs.

Wasn't his best performance but given the circumstances it was pretty damn good. We won the game. Not like one of those typical 2006 or "Cutler era" games where the offense does everything to lose the game. He's a 2nd year QB playing in his 1st year with a brand new system/coach/scheme and we just beat a team that went to the NFC Championship game last year with the only major difference being an UPGRADE at QB.

I'm pretty dam happy with the way that game turned out and how our season has played out so far.

The Vikings are 7th in passing defense. The Saints are 27th in passing defense. Absolutely this stuff will fly against the Saints. When we play the Saints in the playoffs, it won't be about Mitch scoring on them. It will be whether or not our defense can stop Brees and Kamara.

Yeah that Vikes D is really good. Give Trubs some time, it’s his first year in this system. Also, he’s had the luxury of great field position at times, he’s making the system even better with his mobility.

Mitch just has to learn that sometimes there's not a lot there, don't try to force it.

To be fair that's generally one of the things he's done pretty well this season up to last night, but the Vikings are a step up as a defence. Despite those couple of errors he also had some good moments. The yards with his legs, TD pass to Miller and that first down throw to Robinson when we were under pressure late on all helped us win the game. He did OK.

At least they aren't the shit tier Cutler variety of INT where he totally misread the coverage and got fucked.

The first INT was thrown on a rope to Gabriel. The corner actually reached right over Gabriel's head and pretty much took it from him. A taller guy could have made that catch. The 2nd INT looked to be a communication error. I can deal with these year 1 in this system at least for the time being. Meanwhile the 800 gorillion dollar man Cousins made 2 piss poor decisions that costed the Vikes points. Wasnt a good game by any means, but he managed not to throw the game away. I'm fine with this under the circumstances.
